Termite Behavior: A Path to Advanced Treatment Strategies
Understanding termite nesting habits and colony dynamics is key to developing and implementing efficient and sustainable treatment options. By tailoring strategies to their biology and habits, we can safeguard structures and minimize the economic impact of infestations.
Have you ever watched ants bump into each other? They do this to communicate and eliminate perceived threats to their colonies. Termites do the same thing! Some termites are blind, while others have such large heads that they can’t feed themselves, and so they are reliant on each other for food. Termites also require constant grooming to remove a fungus that grows on their bodies. For these reasons, there is a lot of communal contact in colonies.
Termites are Smart: They Build Barriers to Hide the Queen
Termites intentionally keep the Queen in protected areas where she will be safe. You might find evidence of termites in one area of your home, only for the Queen and her eggs to be within an 8-10’ radius in any direction. In other words, they could be in an entirely different room! Unfortunately, this means that killing termites in the area you find the evidence does not take care of the problem, just one of the symptoms.
Termites are also intelligent. For example, they will avoid treatment areas if they sense chemical repellants. Termites will even barricade the treatment area to prevent other termites from coming into contact with the product. That’s why it can be tricky to get the Queen and her eggs.

Comparing Treatment Options
Termites can cause extensive damage to a property that may result in expensive treatments and repairs. The problem many home and business owners experience when looking for termite control is that companies push a one-size-fits all solution, often prioritizing their preferred technology without considering the customer’s lifestyle and unique circumstances.
We do things differently.
At No Bugs, we offer all the most effective solutions as well as one that no one else does: our revolutionary Nest Injection Technology. We take the time to assess your property and discuss your options, ensuring that our solutions are not just effective but also aligned with your individual needs.
Nest Injection Technology
Nest Injection Technology Targets the Way Termites “Touch and Feed” to Infiltrate the Entire Colony
Our Nest Injection Technology is designed to kill termites from the inside out. This treatment method involves injecting a liquid solution into the “kick-out” holes that termites create in walls. Because our product does not contain a chemical smell, it won’t alarm or repel the termites, nor will it trigger their instinctive defense tactics. As they consume the solution, it will also cover and be absorbed into their bodies. When the termites return to the nest, they will share the lethal product with the entire colony – including the Queen – thanks to communal contact and feeding.
There Is Nowhere for Termites to Hide
One reason termites can be hard to treat is that they live deep within the wood, not on the surface or in the hollow voids of walls. However, this is exactly why our Nest Injection Technology is so uniquely effective. The termites will carry and share the solution throughout the entire colony, and even the Queen and her eggs will be terminally infected by the epidemic before they know what hit them.
